Recommendations
Olivier joined Chronogolf on a full-time basis in 2014 when we were a small startup of 5 employees and played a crucial role in allowing us to scale to a team of 45+ individuals including 10 software engineers. Over a tenure of 4+ years with Chronogolf, Olivier demonstrated an incredible capacity to adapt with the growth of the company. Olivier is a natural leader and creative thinker who has the best interest of the business in mind when leading any project or mandate he is taking on. Beyond his strong technical capabilities as a backend engineer, he is also an altruistic colleague who leads by example. It was a privilege to work with him over the years.
Jean-David Saint-Martin
President at Lightspeed HQ
What a power house. On the dev team, Olivier not only takes on the hardest tasks on the list, but also takes on initiatives that need to be done that others are not seeing. He truly leaves things much better than he found them, taking the time to do it right. Also, he's been a mentor for me. Taking the time to answer questions, teach me things, and understand that this time is an investment for the team. It's truly a pleasure working with Olivier, and a highlight of working on this team. This is the standard all devs should aspire to become. By his consistency and the way he applies himself, he is the definition of a senior developer that I aspire to emulate, and provides me with the insight of what characteristics to look for when I hire senior/lead devs in the future.

Fractional CTO
Translated from French
I have seen Olivier's work first-hand, and I can say with confidence that his contribution exceeded our expectations. He independently led a large e-commerce project, in French and in English. He was professional with the client and took many good initiatives. Add his technical experience with Rails and his positive attitude, and the project was a success. I will not hesitate to hire Olivier again.

About
I have been a developer since 2008, and I am an independent consultant in Québec City.
As Chronogolf's first developer, I designed its backend and built its team while the company grew from 5 to 45+ people, before Lightspeed acquired it.
I work in French and English.
How this site was built
I built this site with AI coding agents, using the method I offer my clients: every change is made on its own branch and passes automated checks (accessibility, performance, spelling, French typography, links) before it goes live.
The site is built with Astro and hosted on Cloudflare.
